A charming provincial gate‑leg table, crafted in English oak during the reign of William III, circa 1700. Despite its three centuries of life, it remains as practical and inviting today as when it was first made.

Desirable aged patina with warm, caramel tones enhanced by a quality wax polish. Select oak timbers showing attractive grain. Narrow, space‑saving form when closed, ideal for occasional or everyday use. 

Generous oval top created by broad drop leaves that swing out smoothly. 

Six sturdy block feet with rotating gate‑leg supports providing excellent stability. 

This table embodies the honest craftsmanship of provincial furniture: practical, well‑proportioned, and full of character. Its solid joints and robust construction make it perfectly suited to a country kitchen, dining room, or cottage interior. Offered in good order, waxed, polished, and ready to place in the home.

We provide a bespoke nationwide in‑house delivery service for all pieces. Share your address details with us prior to purchase and we’ll prepare an accurate delivery quotation.

Delivery to England is typically completed within 7 days. For Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland, delivery usually takes 10–14 days. Overseas delivery is available; however, timings depend on the chosen carrier and border control checks, so transit may take considerably longer.
