A large, original Victorian mahogany chest of drawers, dating to around 1880 and offering real presence. Tall, dark, handsome and full of character, it’s the perfect piece for anyone who loves furniture with soul.

Arranged in the classic 2 over 3 configuration, this chest provides huge amounts of practical storage while retaining all the charm of its period craftsmanship. The mahogany shows a deep, rich colour with beautiful natural patina, giving the whole piece a warm, lived‑in authenticity.

Recently restored with a wax finish, the surface has been carefully preserved rather than over‑worked — keeping every bit of its age, character and tactile appeal. All drawers run smoothly and are structurally sound, making it as functional as it is striking.

Condition: solid condition throughout. All drawers run well, natural patina, marks and blemishes adding to the rich character of the piece. Later replacement back panel and internal base panel.

We provide a bespoke nationwide in‑house delivery service for all pieces. Share your address details with us prior to purchase and we’ll prepare an accurate delivery quotation.

Delivery to England is typically completed within 7 days. For Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland, delivery usually takes 10–14 days. Overseas delivery is available; however, timings depend on the chosen carrier and border control checks, so transit may take considerably longer.
