Large 18th‑Century Oak Blanket Chest, c.1780

A beautifully proportioned country house oak blanket chest dating from the late 18th century. The hinged top opens to reveal generous interior storage, ideal for linens, clothing, blankets, or bedding. The four‑panel front is richly carved with meandering foliate motifs, adding depth and character to the piece.

Retaining its original iron hinges and presenting in excellent antique condition throughout, this chest offers both practicality and timeless charm. A superb example of period craftsmanship with real presence.

Delivery to England is typically completed within 7 days. For Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland, delivery usually takes 10–14 days. Overseas delivery is available; however, timings depend on the chosen carrier and border control checks, so transit may take considerably longer.
